School Advisory Council
PRESENTATION PARISH SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL (SAC) was instituted at the discretion of the Pastor as a consultative body, neither jurisdictional nor regulatory, to advise and assist the Principal. Its authority and responsibility shall always be in harmony with the policies of the Diocesan Catholic Schools Office. Parish Ministry guidelines are reviewed and approved periodically by the Principal, by the Pastor, and by the Director of Catholic Schools.
The Council consists of ten members, including two ex-officio members, namely a teacher representative and the Presentation Parent Boosters president. The SAC chairperson presides over the meeting. Suggested agenda items should be stated in writing and given to the administration one week in advance of the meeting. All parents/guardians will be given an opportunity to comment or address the SAC if asked to be placed on the agenda one week prior to the meeting.
